Schalk Pienaar Safaris Namibia offer a true African safari experience in the heart of Namibia.

Plains Game hunting is offered as well as very exciting dangerous game hunts in the Caprivi Strip (now known as the Zambesi region of Namibia). We have over 30 species of plains and dangers game. We also offer some of Namibia’s very best bird hunting safaris on the Western edge of the Kalahari desert (in Botswana).

  • HUNTING AREA:

    Schalk Pienaar hunts on his family ranch in eastern Namibia which is on the western edge of the Kalahari.  He also has access to many other ranches and concession areas throughout the country in order for you to have the opportunity to hunt every single able species Namibia has to offer.

    The rainy season is generally from December until mid April.


    Vaccinations:

    Vaccinations: Tetanus-diphtheria vaccine is recommended for all travellers who have not received a tetanus-diphtheria immunization within the last 10 years.


    Malaria: Our hunting area and the concessions are Malaria free.

ACCOMODATION

Kalahari Hunting lodge: 
Resort style lodging. A private getaway bordering the Kalahari that puts you in the heart of 31,000 acres to hunt. 

The main lodge offers 5 en-suite bedrooms with free WIFI, fully air conditioned with upper and lower decking areas to marvel at the truly spectacular sunrises and sunsets. 

You will find Schalk and Amore Pienaar as gracious, engaged and courteous hosts. The meal will be ample, the laughter and after hunt cocktails and beer free flowing ... and one of the most memorable adventures of a lifetime.
Caprivi Camp:
On an island in the Linyanti Swamps of the Eastern-Caprivi, this camp has 3 permanent en-suite guest tents and a beautiful thatch roof dining area.
