What to Bring
The weather in April and May tends to be cool (10 -15 degrees Celsius) in the early morning, then warming to the 20’s. June is a transitional month, cooler in the morning (10 degrees Celsius), warming to the 15. July and August are the coldest, (5 degrees Celsius) in the morning, warming to the 15. As you can see, you must dress in layers to remain comfortable. Laundry is available.
* Cotton Turtlenecks
* Camo Chamois Shirts Lightweight Sweaters
* Camo Gortex Outer shell
* Camo Trousers, Cotton or Twill
* Camo Down or Hollofil Vest
* Camo or Olive drab A broad brim hat is the best during the mosquito season from January to late May.
* Shooting gloves or Gortex gloves are a must to protect you’re hands from the hot gun barrels.
* Quality Cotton Athletic is fine.
* Waders or hip boots - you will not be in the water over your knees on the way to your blind. Waders guarantee you will stay dry and comfortable. Good field boots for upland shooting.
* Gear. Do not forget your CHOKE TUBES, Insect repellent, shooting glasses, gun or spray oil, Camo half face mask or camo bandanna (your face is like a neon sign and it needs to be covered), camo waist pack (great for chokes and insect repellent), shell pouch for rapid reloading!
