AREA:
Charara. Charara is a National Parks Safari Area in the Northern part of the country, running along the north eastern part of the Kariba lake shore. This area is strictly a Big Game area offering 4 of the Big 5 dangerous game. Some of the best Elephant hunting in Zimbabwe is done in this area. Crocodile hunting in this area is phenomenal. We can almost guarantee that a hunter will get an opportunity at a crocodile of over 13 feet or 4 meters.
Rifa. Rifa is our best area and arguably the best big game hunting area in Zimbabwe. Rifa is a National Parks Safari Area in the World renowned Zambezi Valley.
This area is renowned for its abundant game. Host to the African Big 5, it also has an incredible amount of plains animals and a large variety of plains animals.
Chishakwe Ranch. This area is renowned for its abundant game. Host to the African Big 5, it also has an incredible amount of plains animals and a large variety of plains animals.
Chishakwe Ranch. This area is good for family hunts as the Lodge gets our 5 star rating. The lodge consists of 5 chalets with en-suite bathrooms. It has a beautiful bar area with swimming pool attached and a separate dining room. The Lodge sits on a river bank under the shadows of big riverine trees. Back to Safaris
Rifa has 2 camps. The main camp consists of 3 Luxury Safari tents with a lounge dining area overlooking the Zambezi river. The fly camp consist of 2 luxury safari tents with its own dining room. This camp is used for those hunters that travel alone
Charara.There is 1 camp available in this area with 3 chalets, all en-suite. The camp is situated on the Kariba lake shore with a beautiful view of Nyaodza bay. The rooms are air-conditioned, however this camp only gets a 2-3 star rating by Pro Safaris Africa. The camp is not exclusive to Pro Safaris Africa and Hunters will very likely share the camp for some days during their safari, unless the camp is booked completely by 1 hunting party.
