Mark and Paula Haldane started Game Hunters Africa in 1986 and slowly built it up to where it is today. 

Assisted by a great team, Game and Bird Hunters Africa has a remarkable 86% repeat clientele.  Mark has guided in all of southern Africa’s countries as well as Canada, Romania and Australia.  Highlights of his career have been a 47 inch Buffalo, 80lb. Elephant, 18.5 inch Bushbuck as well as the #1 Suni and Red Duiker with a handgun.

HUNTING AREA:

Mozambique is situated in the South East of Africa.  Vast wilderness areas, unchanged from their past fame as Africa’s greatest hunting lands.  Varied terrain: sand forests, tropical savannah,swamps and flood plains.  Located in the central part of Mozambique and near the coast, the concessions of Coutada 11 and 12 give an extent of 5,000 square kms. of prime big game hunting.  Zambeze Delta Safaris' concessions hold 22 huntable game species from Livingston Suni to the Elephant and include vast herds of Buffalo and Sable.

ACCOMMODATION:

Coutada 11:  The main camp, Mungari is East African styled camp sleeping 8 guests in 4 en-suite tents.  The second lodge Mgazi sleeps 4 guests in 2 en-suite rooms.

Coutada 12:  Two permanent camps. Chironde is brick and mortor chalets comprising two beds with ensuite, fringed by mature Massa forest.  Nhago comprises two chalets with ensuites.
