Mark and Paula Haldane started Game Hunters Africa in 1986 and slowly built it up to where it is today.  Assisted by a great team, they have a remarkable 86% repeat clientele.  Mark has guided in all of southern Africa’s countries as well as Canada, Romania and Australia.  Highlights of his career have been a 47 inch Buffalo, 80lb. Elephant, 18.5 inch Bushbuck, as well as the #1 Suni and Red Duiker with a handgun.

HUNTING AREA:

Our hunting concession in South Africa is over 4million acres.
We cover all the areas from the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Northern Provence and KwaZulu Natal. This gives one the opportunity to have the chance of taking all that South Africa has to offer for the discerning hunter from the tiny Cape Grysbok or Blue Duiker to Elephant and Buffalo - the list is endless.
Your safari begins when you fly into the nearest airport where you will be met by your Professional Hunter and driven out to the hunting area. Travel is by four wheel drive, commercial or charter flight.

ACCOMMODATION:

Accommodation varies from Lodges, Tented Camps to Chalets all with bathrooms, ensuite, with some of the most magnificent surroundings

Baynesfield Camp. The picturesque lodge is situated on the banks of a large lake and accommodates up to 10 people in 5 log cabins. All of these cabins have en-suite bathrooms, electricity and hot and cold running water.

Mkuze Falls.  The Lodge is one of only two Private Game Reserves in Zululand/KwaZulu Natal region where you can view the "Big 5" animals. Accommodation is in "Hemingway" style East African tents that overlook the Mkuze River. Tents are built on wooden decks and are raised on stilts. Rated one of the top five star lodges in South Africa. 

Nxala Game Lodge is situated in the Dundee area of Northern KwaZulu-Natal. This area is famous for the battles between the British and the Zulu's. The lodge is nestled into a picturesque part of the 6000 acre private hunting reserve.  Built out of brick and tile it has 4 bedrooms with ensuites. 

Zulu Wings.  The lodge comprises 6 en-suite guest rooms, each of which sleep two people.  Four hours drive from either Johannesburg or Durban, Zulu Wings is one of South Africa's premier lodges.  Exceptional European home style cooked game as well as traditional South African dishes, prepared to perfection and served with wines from the Cape.
