Whiteswan Lake Outfitters is a family run business.  Jordon and Natasha Aasland own and manage the area;  Jordon is an avid sheep guide and outdoorsman. The Aaslands, and their staff, take pride in providing you with a successful hunting experience.

HUNTING AREA:

Whiteswan Lake is located in South Eastern British Columbia in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, just south of Kootenay and Banff National Park.  Hunts are designed with each individual hunter in mind, and by all means - foot, vehicle and horse.  The better your condition the more you will be able to achieve.
You will be hunting with your guide in some of the most beautiful country in British Columbia. The hunting area covers 8000 square kilometres and boasts some of the best, Mountain Goat, Grizzly, Bighorn Sheep, Elk, Mule Deer, Moose and Black bear hunting in British Columbia.  Black bears range in colour from pure black to brown or cinnamon in colour. Cougar hunts are also available in December/January.

ACCOMMODATION:

Hunts are run from a main Hunting Lodge and many out camps.

Arriving at the main lodge is a real delight - the road opens up to reveal the rustic, wooden  house and it’s four out cabins nestled in the valley beside the Kootenay river. The lodge is family owned and built and the love of the wilderness and the outdoor life style is obvious in the detail.

The four cabins are located away from the main lodge, for privacy to each group.  Each cabin has comfortable single beds…one has a double for couples if preferred.
Dining is, again, a family affair at a large table that is both welcoming and extremely well catered. The food at this lodge is marvellous and will please even the fussy eater.
The views from the main lodge look out from a huge wall of glass to the mountains and woods that surround it.
